pollinators seminar

I went to a pollinator garden seminar at Sandyvale yesterday. It was pretty informative. I get a fair amount of pollinators in my gardens, but I’m going to try to get even more by planting some native pollinators in the future. I want to do some rearranging around the pond area, so I may introduce some new plants there. And I’m going to remove the butterfly weed from the butterfly garden because it is an invasive species, and it is taking over that area.

I haven’t been outside much yet this season, and there’s lots to do. I’m trying to get the garden ready for planting, and I have some plants going in the house. Hopefully, I’ll catch a few nice days this month so I can get caught up.
