This was a re-read of a memorable book I read a long time ago. In it, the main character (Mary Terror), who was a radical hippie, stole a newborn baby from the hospital and went on a quest to find her long-lost love, who was also the leader of the radical group she once belonged to. The FBI wasn’t making much progress in finding the baby, so the baby’s mother did her own research and was able to track Mary Terror across the country. The whole book is pretty gruesome. Robert McCammon, one of my favorite authors, wrote this one.
