And now it’s time for the monthly knee update. Jake saw his surgeon yesterday. He is making good progress, but will need to continue with PT for another 6 weeks, He’ll just be going once a week instead of twice, though. He can also lose the knee brace except when he’s at school or with his friends because “things can happen”. Unfortunately, he isn’t able to return to Garden Haven yet, but they will revisit that topic at next month’s appointment, where he’ll also be fitted for a different kind of knee brace. On the plus side, he has gym (which he hates) this semester and cannot participate in that. But, his gym teacher said that he can do his PT exercises during class, so that is going to work out well.
