Jake had to come in for a work thing (something unavoidable that had been scheduled for a while, unfortunately for him). It was good to see him even though he’d only been gone a few weeks. We went to my parents’ for lunch on Sunday, worked on the puzzle a few times (a neverending puzzle that we’ve been working on for a year!), and he got to hang out with his friends a few nights. I’m not sure when I’ll see him again, but I’m planning a trip down there this fall, which I’m looking forward to.
