I feel like we’ve been making good progress on both fronts. We’re trying to tackle some of the easy tasks around the house (like painting) just to get those items knocked off the list. And, I’m trying to do this kind of stuff when it’s not nice outside, so that I don’t have to feel like I’m losing out on my gardening time. Yesterday, we painted the ceiling in our bedroom and the previous weekend, we painted some trim and a door.
I’ve been making great progress outside, too. We’ve had enough nice days this month and I’ve been going outside as much as possible in the evenings. I feel like I’m ahead of the game right now (talk to me in July and see if that’s still the case). The yard work is under control and the garden is on schedule. We even bought new patio furniture today and Brian got that assembled. So, it’s looking good in the back yard (except for the lack of hedges).
