On Sunday, we went to the Shriners’ gun raffle in Altoona with my parents. It was a fun afternoon even though we didn’t win any guns (my dad won a door prize of a trail camera, though).
For obvious reasons, guns have been in the news a lot lately. I think the politicians need to take a closer look at things before doing something just for the sake of doing something (I know, like that’s going to happen). Here’s a good litmus test–if your proposed law wouldn’t have prevented any of the recent tragedies, maybe you should go back to the drawing board.
