My mom was supposed to host this year, but wasn’t feeling up to it, so I took over hosting duties. It was a bit of a stretch since I was gone most of Saturday, but I scaled back what I’d normally do, and it worked out fine. It also helped that my mom brought a couple of dishes. I did a turkey breast and a ham on the smoker for the main dishes. I love the smoker! Jake was not in this year, but It was a small gathering of my parents, brother and his family, and my sister-in-law’s mother.
