The folks at Tirko Auto Sales have a car show every year and select an animal-related non-profit to receive the proceeds. This year, they selected the non-profit I’m involved with, Seven Hearts Project. Our group went there today to help out with the event. We manned the basket raffle table. It was non-stop. There were over 100 baskets and other items in the raffle.
It was a long day, but well worth it! And there were so many awesome cars. I heard there were around 80. I don’t know if that’s a lot for a car show, but it seemed like a lot of cars. We had to be there at 8 am to set up and the event was from 11 am to 4 pm. It ran a little longer due to all of the baskets. I am totally fried this evening. Good thing I cleared my schedule for today. Also, good thing Jake was in to take care of the dogs for me. I’m not sure how that would have worked, otherwise.
