This was a movie that didn’t blow. It told the story of George Jung, who is credited for bringing cocaine into America. I didn’t really know what the plot was going to be about, but since Johnny Depp was in it, I figured it had to be worth watching. And it was. The movie also featured one of my favorite actresses, Rachel Griffiths, this time sporting a New England accent. She’s from Australia and played a Californian in one of my favorite HBO shows, Six Feet Under. So, she sounds different every time I see her. Anyway, this movie is definitely worth checking out. It’s more of a character piece than anything else, but I thought it was a really good movie.
