While I wouldn’t call this movie fantastic, it was good enough for Family Movie Night. It was based on a Roald Dahl book, so it was weird like all of his other stuff. There was one funny recurring theme throughout the movie–the word “cuss” was substituted for swear words. Though I’m not sure why this was needed to begin with seeing that it was a story for kids. At any rate, it was kind of funny, so we’ve been doing that rather than swearing, since last night.
Jake really liked the movie (but I don’t think he has seen a kid’s movie that he hasn’t liked). Brian and I thought it was ok.
