Lisa Scottoline has been changing the type of books that she writes. They’re still thrillers, but there’s less of a legal angle to them (though the main character in this book was a court reporter). In this book, an apparent carjacking gone wrong puts a family in the witness protection program. And the father takes matters into his own hands with the help of one of the FBI agents assigned to his family’s case.
