I met one of my old shelter dog-walking friends for lunch today. We mostly talked shop (dogs), but catching up was nice. It’s been well over a year since I stopped walking dogs at the shelter so we haven’t seen each other in a while, though we text on occasion. I miss walking dogs, and she’s trying to get me to return, but I don’t have the time to do that right now. Maybe someday. Since it was a beautiful day, we got to sit on the patio and enjoy our meal. What nice weather!
