Another year, another music festival. It seems like with each passing year, there are fewer bands that I want to check out. This year, there were only two: Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country and Billy the Kid and the Regulators. Cosmic Country was great! Billy the Kid was good. I caught bits from a few other acts before and after, but I didn’t spend a lot of time at the festival this year, even though I always say I’m going to. It seems like they keep getting more and more jam bands each year, which I’m not into. I’d say there’s less variety now than there used to be. But, I’m not complaining–I still get to see some great bands each year and we get tickets for free at work. If I had to pay, I might not go, but since it’s free, it’s worth checking out.
