This wasn’t Stephen King’s first foray into the fantasy genre, but it is definitely one of his best. The story was pretty long (around 600 pages), but I didn’t want the story to end. Most of the story took place in the “fairy tale” world, complete with princesses, giants, castles, and more. But the beginning part of the story explained how the main character learned of the other world. This book was super engaging and I found myself neglecting my duties around the house so I could read it.
