I think this might be a misnomer. I spent two days porting Brian’s company’s finances to QuickBooks, so I wouldn’t call that quick. Luckily, I met with our accountant today for our taxes and she set me straight on some questions I had regarding the software. So, that’s how I spent this evening–updating QuickBooks. So much for getting anything else done today.
I had such grand plans for this week…I was going to cook a bunch of stuff and freeze it, clean the house, iron all of the clothes in the closet, catch up on my sleep, train the dogs, and much, much more. Instead, I haven’t done anything outside of my normal routine. Sure, I’ve completed a bunch of work for Brian’s company, but that was during normal working hours. So, that didn’t leave me any more time than usual. And, next week, I start my new job, so time will be even tighter then.
On the plus side, at least I didn’t have to go to work this week.
